Freight-aware delivery, done right.
Our equipment is heavy and high-value, so it ships supplier-direct as oversized freight. Here's exactly how delivery works — and how to protect yourself at the moment of delivery.
Start with your ZIP code.
Freight availability and accessorial services vary by location. We verify yours before fulfillment — no generic promises.
Supplier-direct fulfillment
FORMA RITUAL is a curated retailer. We do not manufacture equipment; we select it and fulfill supplier-direct, which means your item ships from the supplier's freight network rather than a retail warehouse. This keeps the catalog premium and focused, and it's why delivery details are confirmed per order.
Oversized freight
Pilates reformers and infrared saunas exceed standard parcel limits, so they move by LTL (less-than-truckload) freight. Freight shipments are scheduled, not dropped without notice — and the available service level depends on your address.
Appointment scheduling
The carrier contacts you to arrange a delivery appointment window so someone can be present to receive the equipment. We coordinate this with you after your order is confirmed.
Liftgate service
Freight trucks load from a dock. For residential delivery without a dock, a liftgate lowers heavy items to the ground. Most home deliveries require it; we confirm whether it's needed for your address during the availability check.
Delivery methods
Curbside, threshold, or room-of-choice.
The method available depends on the product and your ZIP code. We confirm your options before fulfillment.
Curbside
The carrier brings your item to the curb or driveway and you move it inside. This is the standard freight method and the most widely available.
Threshold
Delivery just inside your first doorway, garage, or entryway — out of the weather, but not carried through your home.
Room of choice (white-glove)
Where available for your ZIP code, the team places the item in your chosen room. Availability and cost vary by address.
Before you sign the delivery receipt
Freight can be damaged in transit. Protecting your claim takes two minutes at the door:
- 1. Inspect the packaging and item for visible damage before signing.
- 2. Photograph any damage to packaging or product.
- 3. Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
- 4. Contact us within 48 hours so we can resolve it under warranty.
Signing a clean receipt for a damaged shipment can limit a freight claim — so always note damage at delivery.
